About the job
What you can achieve
- You are responsible for the strategic and operational management of the focus categories Beauty & OTC throughout the entire product lifecycle
- You plan and implement assortment and product changes in your categories while always keeping an eye on market trends and customer needs
- You conduct annual meetings with suppliers and negotiate promotions
- You plan and control promotions and displays and ensure their correct implementation in pharmacies
- You analyze relevant key figures (sales, margin, rotation) and perform profitability analyses at category and product level
- You work closely with purchasing, sales, marketing, and pharmacies and act as the central interface for your categories
- You set sales and promotional prices and ensure competitive pricing
What you bring with you
- Further education in business administration or a comparable commercial training.
- Several years of proven experience in category management – ideally in retail, consumer goods, or pharmacy environment
- You understand the central CM processes such as assortment strategy, assortment design, price management, promotion planning, and supplier management and can apply them confidently
- A pronounced analytical mindset, structured working style, and a good sense for trends and market mechanisms.
- Teamwork skills, strong communication, and willingness to take responsibility.
- Fluent German and good French skills
