About the job
During this three-year training, you will learn the diverse tasks of a certified Radiology Specialist HF in theoretical blocks at the Careum Education Centre in Zurich and through practical work at the hospitals in Schaffhausen. Internships in the fields of radio-oncology and nuclear medicine are completed at other hospitals. What to Expect
- Performing radiation treatments (diagnostic radiology, radio-oncology, and nuclear medicine)
- Checking organ functions
- Creating image documents for diagnosis
- Operating the equipment
- Caring for patients before, during, and after treatment
What You Bring to Us
- Completion of secondary level II: Federal VET diploma (at least three years of training), Matura, specialised or diploma middle school certificate
- Passed admission procedure (valid for three years)
- Minimum age 17 years at the start of training
- Technical understanding
