About the job

Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborative leadership and coordination of the R&D team (3 people)
• Development of various coating systems: solvent-based, aqueous as well as UV-curing for different application fields: e.g. automotive, medical and sanitary applications as well as luxury watches and luxury writing instruments
• Optimization of existing coating formulations regarding regulatory aspects, performance, and costs
• Testing of new and further developments according to customer specifications, independently and in close cooperation with the testing laboratory
• Close cooperation with the production and quality control team
• Technical support of customers, on-site if necessary

Your profile:

• Completed training as a coating laboratory technician, coating technician, coating engineer or comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge in coating formulation and development
• Solution- and service-oriented mindset as well as constructive handling of customer requirements
• Goal-oriented, reliable and proactive working style
• Team player, friendly, flexible and communicative personality
• Willingness to travel (domestic / abroad)
• Fluent German and good English skills are mandatory, additional language skills such as Spanish, Italian are a plus (customer visits abroad)
