About the job

Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborative leadership and coordination of the R&D team (3 people)
• Development of various paint systems: solvent-based, aqueous as well as UV-curing for different application fields: e.g. automotive, medical and sanitary applications as well as luxury watches and luxury writing instruments
• Optimisation of existing paint formulations with regard to regulatory aspects, performance and costs
• Testing of new and further developments according to customer specifications, independently and in close cooperation with the testing laboratory
• Close cooperation with the production and quality control team
• Technical support of customers, on site if required

Your profile:

• Completed training as a paint laboratory technician, paint technician or paint engineer
• Sound knowledge in paint formulation and development
• Solution- and service-oriented thinking as well as constructive handling of customer requirements
• Goal-oriented, reliable and proactive working style
• Team-oriented, friendly, flexible and communicative personality
• Willingness to travel (domestic / abroad)
• Fluent German and good English skills are essential, further language skills such as Spanish, Italian are an advantage (customer visits abroad)
