Senior Distribution Specialist
for its global Pharma Division Headquarter based in Allschwil- Basel.

Primary Job Function:

Coordinate the implementation of Global Distribution Routes: Coordinate efforts and support the execution team to ensure readiness of new routes cold chain and ambient temperature. Guarantee first-time-right physical distribution processes to support regulatory dossier submissions and quality requirements.

Global Distribution Design implementation and Optimization: Ensure the projects of design, implementation and optimization are followed up and properly implemented from execution perspective. For example, warehouse transfers, new hubs, etc.

Compliance and Customer Satisfaction related to transport and warehouse: Align processes with customer expectations and comply with internal and external regulations (quality, regulatory, GMP/GDP) in a cost-effective manner. Ensure systems are aligned.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing global distribution routes. Facilitate and communicate the global distribution design

Coordinates and executes strategic logistics programs, supporting the global EPD distribution of the goods, including qualifications for first route and samples shipments.

Provides key leadership and support execution for the distribution related projects.

Assists in development and execution of strategic logistic plans and reduce costs and process variations by identifying, developing and applying appropriate tools and tactics.

Monitors daily market and geopolitical situation to identify risks and recommends mitigation, coordinating also implementation steps.
Compliance related

Administration of all the SOPs related to Transport and Warehouse from execution perspective. Coordinate with the stakeholders the update and perform the training to the key parties.

Reviews all the Quality documentation related to Transport and warehouse and provide recommendations.
Minimum Experience / Training Required:
Experience/Training
-
Bachelor's or Master’s degree and/or comparable educational background in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management or Business Administration, Customs & Trade compliance in logistics operations at Pharmaceutical industry.

5-10 years’ experience in distribution and transportation of Pharma products.

Project management demonstrated expertise in the pharmaceutical industry.

Experience with ERP systems as SAP ECC and strong domain on MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Power BI, etc).

Proactive internal and external stakeholder communication, coordination and collaboration. Implement agenda under rapidly changing circumstances in complex matrix environments

Agility. Ability to work efficiently in complex and deadline-driven operations, not losing focus on accuracy and quality
