Finance and Controlling Officer
Migration and Civil Law Office | 80-100% | Chur
Currently, the Migration and Civil Law Office employs about 230 staff members active at over 20 locations in the canton of Graubünden and is responsible for the implementation of foreigner and asylum legislation at the cantonal level. The main office of our service is located in Chur.
To strengthen our team in the finance and controlling sector, we are looking for a motivated, versatile, and responsible person from June 1, 2026, or by agreement, to handle various financial matters of our office. In this role, you will take on various tasks in the daily operational financial activities of our service and support the head of the finance and controlling sector in carrying out the multiple tasks.
- Accounting and reconciliation of bank accounts
- Execution of cash audits
- Accounting of debtor payments including reminders
- Control of creditors as well as execution of payments to creditors
- Work with various accounting systems
- Support in preparing quarterly, semi-annual, and annual closings
- Assumption of additional tasks in the finance and controlling sector as specifically assigned
- Collaboration with all sections of the office as well as with other services of the cantonal administration
- Completed basic commercial training (AFC) or equivalent training
- Professional development in the financial or accounting field is an advantage
- Professional experience in a similar role
- Insight and ability to think interdisciplinarily
- Structured, proactive, and reliable working method
- High precision, discretion, and sense of responsibility
- Good application knowledge of MS Office and willingness to work with various specific applications (e.g., Tutoris, Abacus)
- Proficiency in written and spoken German; knowledge of other official languages is an advantage
