What you can achieve

• Responsibility for planning, executing and documenting tests
• Review of requirements as well as creation, maintenance and further development of test cases, test protocols and test evidence
• Creation and maintenance of test scripting
• Execution of API and database testing as well as ensuring quality along modern development processes
• Participation in the integration of tests into CI/CD and DevOps processes as well as support in deployment and release processes
• Ensuring the linkage between requirements, test cases, results and defects
• Provision of suitable test environments, maintenance of configuration management of test tools and compliance with quality management requirements
• Active involvement in the optimisation of test processes, test methodology and technical quality standards

What you bring with you

• Advanced vocational training in computer science or career changer with several years of experience in software testing
• Solid experience as a test engineer, especially in test automation, test scripting and structured testing
• Very good knowledge of test methodology and strategy, modern testing approaches and agile software development
• Good understanding of modern DevOps processes
• Knowledge of Jira, Xray and GitLab is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
• Fluent German; English and/or French skills (Level B2) are an advantage
• Experience in regulated industries is an advantage
• Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
