You have completed your studies in Business Administration or Law and want to apply your knowledge in practice? Meet the Cantonal Tax Office and learn about the entry as a Tax Commissioner in the private individuals sector at the Talendo fair in Zurich. Here, numbers, law and people come together: You analyse tax returns, clarify facts and gradually develop a feel for taxation.

You do not need to be a tax expert yet. We train you on the job with full pay and support you with an experienced team from day one. Curiosity and enjoyment in understanding complex topics are good prerequisites. The start is by arrangement and coordinated with our internal training start.

Your area of responsibility:

• Review and assessment of tax returns from employed and self-employed persons
• Answering tax-related questions in writing, by phone or in person
• Technical contact person for municipal tax offices
• Review of objections and in-depth clarification of open issues
• Participation in audit procedures
• Support in appeal procedures and representation of the state in corresponding proceedings

Your profile:

• A completed bachelor’s degree, ideally in business administration or law, or a higher professional qualification in finance and accounting, fiduciary or as a business economist HF
• Interest in tax issues and initial insights into the finance or tax sector are an advantage
• Interest in understanding complex topics and making independent decisions
• A structured, independent way of working and enjoyment in taking responsibility
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form (C2)
