What you will achieve with us
- Personnel, professional and organisational management of the Measures Enforcement Department 2 with an interdisciplinary team of around 6 employees with diverse backgrounds
- Ensuring a professional, effective and legally compliant implementation of outpatient and inpatient measures
- Further development of structures, processes and quality management as well as harmonisation of working methods
- Close cooperation with the legal department, internal specialist units and external partners
- Active participation in the management of the Probation and Correctional Services as well as in projects, specialist and working groups
- Representation of the department in complex professional situations, if necessary also before courts
What you bring with you
- A bachelor’s degree in social work, law or a related field, such as psychology or criminology
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable environment as well as proven experience in personnel management of qualified specialist staff
- A clear understanding of leadership and the ability to lead employees confidently, appreciatively and reliably even in demanding situations
- Decisiveness, assertiveness and the ability to weigh different interests, set priorities and take responsibility

The Probation and Correctional Services (BVD) are one of eight main departments of JuWe. They are responsible for the regulation and management of the enforcement of custodial sentences and court-ordered measures as well as for probation assistance and the implementation of learning programmes. With around 180 employees, they make an important contribution to crime prevention and social integration.
