About the job
The Development department is responsible for the heart of Finnova – our core banking software. Within the "Core & Regulations" division, we ensure that master data is always managed consistently, up-to-date, unambiguously, and reliably. For our agile team "Card Management and Counter," we are looking for a committed and creative individual as a Software Engineer. Together, we develop innovative solutions for our Finnova community and make an important contribution to the digitalisation and further development of financial processes. - bringing your experience and best practices into our software development as well as implementing complex requirements, among others in Oracle PL/SQL
- the agile new development and enhancement of software solutions based on our Finnova Banking Software as well as collaborating in a cross-functional, motivated, and customer-oriented Scrum team
- looking beyond the horizon: you are eager to integrate modern technologies and AI tools (such as Github Copilot) profitably and curiously into your daily development work
- exchanging with internal/external stakeholders to clarify technical and professional questions as well as creating technical concepts and specifications
- with a completed higher education in computer science or with your solid software engineering knowledge, ideally in Oracle PL/SQL (or a strong interest in acquiring and using PL/SQL)
- with your preferably existing Java skills
- with your proven experience in software engineering projects and your passion for software development
- with your structured and independent working style in our agile software development environment with Scrum
- with your innovative, responsible, and team-oriented personality as well as your openness to new technological trends (e.g. AI)
- with your banking expertise, preferably in the area of "Card Management and Counter"
- with very good German skills (at least level C1) and good English skills (at least level B2)
