Your Tasks
- Independent coding of inpatient cases according to SwissDRG using ICD-10-GM and CHOP
- Checking medical documentation for completeness and coding relevance
- Close cooperation with doctors and other professional groups
- Support in ensuring high-quality and audit-proof coding
- Participation in the continuous optimisation of processes in revenue management
- Support in evaluations and projects in the area of coding and revenue assurance
Your Profile
- Completed training as a medical coder with a Swiss federal certificate or comparable qualification or several years of practical experience in inpatient medical coding in an acute hospital
- Good knowledge of ICD-10-GM and CHOP classifications
- Independent, structured and reliable working style
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Good IT user skills
