Primary School Uster, with around 3,000 school and kindergarten children, is the third largest school community in the canton of Zurich. Uster is an attractive town in a rural area.
With immediate effect or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed, reliable and energetic person for the school property business area for the Talacker school complex and the Niederuster school complex as

Your main tasks
- You maintain and care for the outdoor facilities, paths, squares and green areas.
- You take on winter services and ensure safe access throughout the entire site.
- You assist with cleaning, maintenance and preservation of the school buildings and infrastructure.
- You help to ensure the smooth operation of the school facilities.
- You independently carry out minor maintenance, repair and restoration work.
- You work closely with the head caretaker, the school operation, internal departments as well as external craft and cleaning companies.
- You are a reliable contact person on site and meet teachers, pupils and other users in a friendly and helpful manner.
What you bring with you
- Completed vocational training, preferably in a craft or technical field
- Several years of practical professional experience, ideally in building maintenance, caretaking or technical service
- Enjoyment of practical work indoors and outdoors
- Team spirit, resilience, reliability and assertiveness
- High service orientation as well as appreciative interaction with children, schools and various stakeholder groups
