Job description
Presentation:
The Béthel Home Foundation is a living place welcoming 65 residents over 65 years old whose physical or mental health requires support 7 days a week and 24 hours a day until the end of their life.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Contribute to promoting the quality of life of residents by supporting, over time, the establishment's project in the field of palliative care
- Manage activities with an interdisciplinary approach from admission to death
- Perform duties autonomously and responsibly within delegated activities and according to clearly established procedures
- Provide care to residents as medico-technical acts under nurse delegation and keep records up to date
- Cooperate in resident support projects with an interdisciplinary vision
- Ensure optimal quality of care in compliance with current standards
- Provide high-quality oral and written handovers
- Support the work of ASA and qualified and unqualified nursing assistants
Profile sought
- ASSC apprenticeship – CFC
- 5 years’ experience in EMS in the required profile – mandatory
- Knowledge of palliative care
- Sense of responsibility
- Interest in interdisciplinary work
- French level C1
- Adapt to the diversity of residents and families
- Assess and adapt resident care according to their abilities and wishes in simple situations
- Physically and mentally resilient
- Knowledge of IT tools such as DIR (Sadies) – mandatory
