The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy under the nursing management of Mr Sven Lang, Elisabeth (Liz) Fürer is seeking a registered nurse HF/FH as a permanent night watch on the psychiatric private ward with a psychotherapeutic focus, starting immediately or by arrangement, 80-100%.
Your tasks
- Patient-oriented, resource-promoting and holistic care and support of our private and semi-private patients of different ages and with various psychiatric disorders
- Implementation and assurance of the ward concept in practice
- Management of the nursing process, compliance with guidelines and instructions, and participation in the development of a professionally sound nursing quality
- Responsibility for patient-centred documentation of the nursing process in ORBIS NICE and correct performance recording based on our LEP catalogue
- Co-responsibility for the care and guidance of our trainees as well as the introduction of new employees
- Transparent, interdisciplinary collaboration with all professionals involved in treatment, including external contacts
- Execution of diagnostic and therapeutic measures
Your profile
- You are motivated to work in a very interesting, varied and demanding field of activity
- You are a qualified registered nurse HF/FH or hold an equivalent foreign diploma
- You enjoy working night shifts and are willing to work as a permanent night watch
- You have good German language skills, both spoken and written
- You have professional experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting
- You are an independent and responsible nursing professional
- You possess good communication, service and quality competencies
