In this role, you will support the monthly preparation and validation of payroll inputs for a 350‑employee organization across 12 countries.
You will work closely with teammates, regional HR partners, Finance, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver a smooth global payroll experience. Because we operate in a fast‑moving, tech‑driven environment, we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with multiple tools and platforms — including spreadsheets and Workday — and who is excited about improving processes through automation and AI‑powered solutions.

- Maintain close collaboration with HR, Finance, and People Operations teams to ensure high-quality and timely data flow.
- Work with external payroll vendors to submit data, review preliminary payroll results, and resolve discrepancies.
- Use Workday to extract, update, and check data related to payroll and employee lifecycle changes.
- Work across multiple platforms and spreadsheets to consolidate, verify, and track payroll information.
- Perform detailed reconciliation and quality checks to ensure payroll accuracy before and after approvals.
- Support payroll audits, year-end activities, statutory reporting, and vendor inquiries.
- Leverage advanced Excel functions for efficiency.
- Drive and support continuous improvements, including process automation and AI-based solutions.
- Document processes and maintain clear, structured operational guidelines.
- Provide tier‑2 support for employee payroll questions with a focus on clarity and service.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax requirements, and data privacy regulations across all supported countries.
Who You Are:
- You have experience in global or multi-country payroll operations (experience with tech or fast-growth global companies strongly preferred).
- You have hands-on experience collecting and preparing payroll inputs for multiple countries.
- You are proficient in spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) with expertise in core functions such as LOOKUPs, SUMIF, COUNTIF, FILTER, INDEX, MATCH, IMPORTRANGE, and Pivot Tables; you can apply these to payroll tasks like data validation, multi-country consolidations, reconciliations, and reporting.
- You have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and comfort working with large datasets.
- You have excellent English communication skills; Other languages are a plus.
- You are able to work collaboratively with cross‑functional and international teams.
- You have strong time-management skills and ability to meet monthly deadlines consistently.
- You are excited about automating manual tasks, improving workflows, and experimenting with AI-driven tools.
Ideal Experience:
- Working with outsourced payroll providers across Europe or globally.
- Experience supporting teams of 300+ employees.
- Familiarity with Workday reporting and data extraction.
- Exposure to payroll transformation or automation initiatives.
