About the job
We are looking for a flexible, motivated service staff member for our mountain inn Dammagletscher, nestled among mountains by the beautiful Göscheneralp dam lake. We are a small inn with 16 rooms. Everything is exclusively homemade and cooked according to the season.
The position holder shares responsibility for the offerings, supporting the entire team, as well as hygiene. He/She ensures a smooth daily routine and maintains a consistent quality of service in the gastronomy sector. Willing to work weekends and evenings.
Requirements
Training in gastronomy is an advantage
Complies with the legal hygiene regulations of gastronomy/kitchen
Enjoys direct contact with guests
Native German speaker or very good German in spoken and written form, additional languages desirable
Independence, quick comprehension and resilience in a sometimes hectic daily routine, flexible
Host qualities
Good product knowledge in the area of food preparation and utilisation
Managing own station with all its tasks and duties
Own car is an advantage, board and lodging possible on site
