As an administrative specialist assistant for waste notifications, you can expect a varied activity in the dynamic interface of logistics, environmental protection, and the corresponding regulations. Together with our specialist for notifications, you will process and coordinate notifications related to the cross-border transport of waste in the metal trade.
- Assist with the complete application process for notifications in cross-border waste traffic
- Compile application documents for notifications
- Oral and written communication with authorities, customers, and carriers, also in English
- Maintenance and updating of notifications (both physical and digital in the environmental authority's IT portal)
- Constant acquisition of knowledge on the topic of cross-border movement of waste (waste law), especially regarding EU regulations and international agreements
- Completed commercial or technical training (e.g., industrial clerk, freight forwarding clerk, environmental protection technician, administrative specialist).
- Initial professional experience in environmental management, waste management, logistics, or authority communication is an advantage.
- Knowledge in waste law, international transport regulations, or approval procedures is a plus.
- Correct and precise working method according to legal requirements, with a high degree of care and attention to detail
