The Herzogenbuchsee school combines kindergarten and primary school in the center of Oberaargau. Thanks to its location on the important traffic axis between Bern and Olten, it is easily accessible and cares for children from Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz from kindergarten to 6th grade. Currently, around 760 students attend the five school and five kindergarten locations, where they are accompanied by a dedicated and versatile team of teachers. In addition to regular classes, the school also organizes speech therapy and psychomotor offers for the surrounding schools in the region.

Tasks
You design a lively lesson together with your co-class teacher in a 1st/2nd grade class and take responsibility for 12–14 lessons. With creative ideas, clear structure, and a lot of heart, you accompany the students in their first school years, support them individually, and ensure a motivating learning environment. You work closely in a team, actively contribute to lesson planning, and make everyday school life varied, appreciative, and child-friendly.
Requirements
- You have training as a Cycle 1 teacher or are completing it
- You enjoy working in a team and communicate on equal footing with teachers and parents
