About the job
Do you enjoy tackling complex problems in banks? As a member of a supervisory team, you can expect a diverse range of tasks.
Main tasks
- Responsibility for supervising a portfolio of asset management or medium-sized retail and commercial banks
- Proactive, critical, risk-oriented and timely monitoring using all available information
- Assessment of the risk situation, analysis of underlying causes as well as development and implementation of measures
- Internal and external main contact person (Key Account Manager) for supervised institutions at all hierarchical levels (including bank boards and executive management)
- Critical evaluation of risk analyses as well as preparation and approval of audit strategies of external audit firms
- Participation in on-site inspections, conducting business model analyses and collaboration with internal departments
Profile
- University degree in business administration, advanced training in finance or equivalent qualification (e.g. certified public accountant)
- At least 5–7 years of experience in banks (e.g. risk management or internal audit) or audit firms with in-depth knowledge of banking business and financial market law
- Strong analytical skills and experience in using standardised methods for structured problem solving
- High communication skills, empathetic and persuasive communication at internal and external management levels
- Assertiveness, flexibility as well as a team-oriented, conscientious and committed working style
- Very good German skills (C2) as well as very good English skills (C1) and good knowledge of French or Italian (C1)
