Training positions for ICT specialists are available, for example, at vocational and cantonal schools, at the Office for Informatics, and at the court. A 24/7 functioning ICT infrastructure is indispensable in today's working world. The internal IT departments are responsible for the smooth operation with their employees and trainees.

The Training

In the 3-year training to become an ICT specialist, you will act as a contact person between installation and support. You will install hardware and software, expand device configurations, and ensure their operation and maintenance. You will support users with support requests, instruct them in the use of ICT tools, and create user manuals. In inter-company courses, projects, and events, you can expand and deepen your professional, methodological, social, and self-competence.

The Requirements

For the training as an ICT specialist, we are looking for students of the secondary school intermediate level with good grades in German and English. In addition, you should have an interest and joy in dealing with people as well as skill in handling technical devices. Your social skills and an open personality are also very important to us, as you will work a lot in a team and have daily customer contact.
