The SVGW is the national professional organisation for water, gas and heat supply in Switzerland and contributes with its guidelines, vocational training, the performance of state-relieving supervisory tasks, consulting services as well as the certification of products, companies and individuals to the safe and sustainable supply of drinking water, gas, district heating, district cooling and anergy.
To strengthen our team at the headquarters in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced and assertive personality as
Specialist in Heat (80 – 100%)
Your challenge
- Further development of the service portfolio in the field of heat
- Active exchange with members and industry representatives as well as technical associations at home and abroad
- Building and actively maintaining a network of members and professionals from other organisations, especially in Western Switzerland (Romandie)
- Creation/revision of guidelines for the planning, construction and operation of district heating, district cooling and anergy networks
- Expansion of technical expert commissions and technical project management in commission work
- Definition of content for specialist conferences and congresses together with the members
- Support in the creation of training and further education offers
- Conveying technical knowledge in the form of articles in specialist journals or presentations at specialist events
Your competence
- Completed engineering degree specialising in energy technology, plant engineering, HVAC or mechanical engineering
- Several years of professional experience and proven expertise in the fields of district heating/cooling, energy technology or network construction
- Fluent French skills in spoken and written form, confident German
- Project management experience
- High social and communication skills
- Ability to convey complex technical contexts clearly and understandably as well as to formulate technical documents
