For our team at the Ursenbach location in the Swiss Midlands, we are looking for a motivated and reliable apprentice starting in 2025:An Apprentice Designer EFZ, 4 years
Your tasks
You will learn how train cabin glazing is designed and manufactured. Furthermore, you can look forward to training in the following areas:
- Creating technical drawings and 3D models (Catia V5 and Autocad)
- Participating in the design of components, assemblies, and manufacturing concepts
- Coordination with engineering, purchasing, production, and quality assurance
- Preparation of parts lists, work plans, and manufacturing documents
- Performing tolerance and strength calculations
- Supporting prototype and test setups
- Contributing to improvement projects and cost reduction
- Ensuring technical documentation and compliance with standards
- Participation in milestone meetings and interdisciplinary teams
- In the first year of apprenticeship, you will complete a 6-month mechanical internship in the training workshop of our partner company in Herzogenbuchsee. There you will learn to process various materials with machines
Your profile
- Strong interest in technology, working on the computer
- Sense of precision, good spatial imagination
- Secondary school with good grades
- You enjoy working in teams and communicate fluently in German; English skills are an advantage
- Responsible, eager to learn, and reliable
