An Apprentice Designer EFZ, 4 years

Your tasks

You will learn how train cabin glazing is designed and manufactured. Furthermore, you can look forward to training in the following areas:

Creating technical drawings and 3D models (Catia V5 and Autocad)
Participating in the design of components, assemblies, and manufacturing concepts
Coordination with engineering, purchasing, production, and quality assurance
Preparation of parts lists, work plans, and manufacturing documents
Performing tolerance and strength calculations
Supporting prototype and test setups
Contributing to improvement projects and cost reduction
Ensuring technical documentation and compliance with standards
Participation in milestone meetings and interdisciplinary teams
In the first year of apprenticeship, you will complete a 6-month mechanical internship in the training workshop of our partner company in Herzogenbuchsee. There you will learn to process various materials with machines

Your profile

Strong interest in technology, working on the computer
Sense of precision, good spatial imagination
Secondary school with good grades
You enjoy working in teams and communicate fluently in German; English skills are an advantage
Responsible, eager to learn, and reliable
