School Social Worker at Hittnau School, 50%Good for life – that is our motto. The Office for Youth and Career Counselling (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as career counselling. Children, young people and families are at the heart of our work. We dedicate ourselves to them daily with great passion and commitment.
For Hittnau School, we are looking for a school social worker (50%) starting 1 August 2026 or by arrangement. You will advise and support pupils, parents and teachers in educational and social matters. In times of crisis and conflict, you will carry out interventions in classes. Furthermore, you will engage in prevention and project work. You will collaborate with the school management, school teams and specialist agencies.
You bring:
- a diploma from a university of applied sciences in social work
- professional experience in school social work or the CAS School Social Work with counselling experience at the interface of youth welfare and school
- skills in counselling, prevention and intervention
- an independent and interdisciplinary working style
- strong communication skills
- enjoyment in working with children and young people in the school environment
