Actively shape the further development of a committed association! As a member of the executive board, you combine strategic financial management with HR and organisational development and secure the foundation for effective association work.

The Association of Swiss Electricity Companies VSE is the umbrella organisation of the electricity industry and is committed to a secure, competitive and sustainable electricity supply in Switzerland. The VSE represents the interests of the industry towards politics, authorities, business, media and the public and is committed to ensuring a sufficient number of well-trained specialists.

From 1 April 2027 or by arrangement we are looking for an experienced and proactive leader as

Head of Finance, HR and Organisational Development, Member of the Executive Board 80-100%

Your versatile field of activity

You are responsible for the forward-looking financial management and sustainable development of the association. You lead the budgeting and planning process including investment planning as well as operational multi-year planning. With meaningful reporting, financial and project controlling, you create transparency and sound decision-making bases for the executive board and the board of directors and support the implementation of strategic priorities. In addition, you ensure the annual financial statements and effective risk management.

Furthermore, you bear overall responsibility for the strategic orientation of HR and organisational development. Together with the specialists, you further develop HR strategy, leadership model and culture and accompany change processes.

As a member of the executive board, you actively shape the further development of the association and bring the financial, personnel and organisational perspective into decisions. You are a valued sparring partner for the directorate, executive board and managers. In your area, you lead a team of three employees.

Your skills

You have several years of leadership experience in a financial function, ideally as a member of an executive board, and bring a proven track record in strategic HR leadership and organisational development. A university degree in business administration or finance or an equivalent higher qualification forms your professional basis. You combine sound expertise in financial management, controlling and risk management with experience in the further development of organisations and the management of change and transformation projects.

You think entrepreneurially, analytically and networked, grasp complex issues quickly and prepare them appropriately for the target audience. As an integrative leader, you combine clarity with empathy. With a willingness to shape, implementation strength and confident appearance, you build trust and develop sustainable solutions.

Experience in the association environment or in a comparable organisation is an advantage. You communicate fluently in German and well in French.
