About the job
Midday Supervisor
immediately required
2–4 lunchtimes per week | 12.15–13.45 each day | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
The St. Michael Zug AG schools are a private, non-profit organisation. Their core business is the Kollegium St. Michael Zug, a state-recognised private day school in the city of Zug. We aim to support young people in developing into future-ready, innovative and courageous individuals. We see school as a place where learning, personal development, community and innovation belong together: modern, reliable and with heart.
Our manageable school offering includes a mixed 5th/6th primary class as well as three secondary classes.
For the supervision of our pupils during the midday break, we are looking for a committed person who contributes with joy, heart and humour to a pleasant and lively midday atmosphere.
What you bring:
We are looking for a person who
- has curiosity about young people and meets them openly, with interest and appreciation,
- shows passion for supporting and supervising children and young people,
- has humour and remains calm even in lively moments,
- lives reliability, takes responsibility and provides guidance to young people, acts independently, is attentive and enjoys communal interaction.
A pedagogical qualification is an advantage but not a requirement. Much more important to us are your personality and your joy in working with young people.
Your tasks:
- You accompany and supervise our pupils during the midday break.
- You ensure a pleasant, respectful and relaxed atmosphere.
- You are a contact person, have an open ear and support positive interaction.
- You help make the midday break a welcome pause in the school day for everyone.
Your working hours: 2–4 lunchtimes per week, each from 12.15 to 13.45 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and/or Friday, no Wednesday).
What to expect from us:
- A family-like school where people know each other, exchange ideas and support one another.
- A committed, warm-hearted team and an uncomplicated working environment.
- A meaningful and varied role with young people.
- Modern premises including a probably unbeatable view of Lake Zug.
Does this suit you?
Then we look forward to meeting you.
