As a Intern Customer Support Engineering you will work as part of the Customer Support Engineering team within Engine Operations, supporting technical activities related to engine shop visits for CFM56 and PW4000 engines. The final internship scope will be discussed and adjusted with the selected trainee in accordance with his/her knowledge and experience.
Your tasks
- Work in a regulated but dynamic environment where you will have the front row seat to experience the engine maintenance processes.
- Contribute by adding value to the readily available engine maintenance data, by making them available and usable for the purpose of smart workscoping, improving shop floor operations and customer experience
- Support in daily activities and be involved in problem solving tasks and process improvements
- Promote the implementation of new technologies and working methods
Your Profile
- Student in Aeronautical Engineering (B.Sc, B.Eng or equivalent) or other relevant studies
- Strong interest in aviation propulsion systems and the MRO industry
- Basic understanding of gas turbine engines is a plus
- Previous industrial experience or prior internship is an advantage but not mandatory
- Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a pluS
- Strong analytical mindset with interest in problem solving and technical investigations
- Solid English skills (min. B1), communicative German (B2) is a plus
