Metalworker – Specialist in Pre-Assembly
Activities
- Independent assembly of system components according to technical specifications (e.g. conveyor troughs, pre-screens, screening machines or roller grates)
- Performing welding work as well as cutting and grinding steel components
- Rubber coating of screen decks and cutting of seals
- Operation of overhead cranes and proper slinging of loads
- Support in loading systems and components
- Inventory control and reporting material requirements to the team leader
Requirements
- Completed basic technical training in mechanical engineering, metal construction, production or locksmithing
- Experience in mechanical assembly work is an advantage
- Knowledge of welding
- German language skills at a business fluent level
- Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts or lifting platforms is an advantage
- Independent, reliable and careful working style
