As a Field Application Engineer, you secure processes & machines and ensure that everything runs smoothly. 🚀

At the Grenchen site (Switzerland), we develop and produce systems for manufacturing laminated corrugated board – and ensure that these run reliably at our customers worldwide.

YOUR MISSION

• Contact person for customers and internal teams worldwide for technical questions
• Ensure smooth and efficient machine and process operation
• Continuously optimize processes and improve quality
• Conduct training and technical support – on-site and remote
• Accompany machine acceptance internally and externally
• Lead projects from sales closure to successful installation
• International travel approx. 80%

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed technical training (e.g., mechanic, automation technician)
• Further education as an engineer FH/B.Sc. (mechanical engineering, systems engineering, mechatronics or similar)
• Several years of professional experience in plant or mechanical engineering
• Initial experience in project management as well as basic business understanding
• Very good understanding of technical processes and machine operations
• Fluent German and English skills (C1), additional languages are an advantage
• Independent, quality- and solution-oriented working style, analytical and networked thinking
