Site Supervising Electrician AND Project Manager Electrical Installation

You want to not only carry out electrical installations but also take responsibility? For a well-positioned and therefore successful company in the Basel region, we are looking for reinforcement for two different roles, with a clear focus on site supervising specialists and additionally for project management. 

Our client realises electrical installation projects in buildings of all kinds such as multi-family houses, hotels, developments for various customer groups. The employees work closely with clients, general contractors and other project participants. 

Important for the site supervising role:

We are looking for solid practical experience in classic building electrical installations. In particular, shell/new construction, conversions and renovations, as well as the willingness to continue to take direct responsibility on site. Pure plant engineering experience without corresponding building and site experience is not sufficient for this role. 

Your tasks – local site management on site 

• Lead electrical installation projects on site from preparation to handover. 

• Coordinate clients, general contractors and other trades. 

• Deploy assembly team and manage materials on site. 

• Keep an eye on deadlines, quality, working hours and site documentation. 

• Work in the team yourself if necessary. 

What you bring for the site supervising role 

• Completed training as an electrician EFZ or equivalent qualification. 

• Ideally further training as a team leader or at least five years of experience as a site manager. 

• At least five years of practical site experience; leadership experience is a plus. 

• Concrete experience in shell/new construction, conversions and renovations as well as interest in continuing to work on site. 

Your tasks – Project Management Electrical Installation 

• Responsible for electrical installation projects from offer to billing. 

• Prepare calculations and offers and follow up with customers. 

• Plan deadlines and resources together with site management. 

• Serve as contact person for clients, general contractors and suppliers. 

• Control budget and change orders. 

• Contribute to the further development of internal processes if qualified and interested. 

What you bring for project management 

• Training as an electrical project manager for installation and safety or an equivalent qualification. 

• Several years of experience in project management and calculation in the electrical and/or ICT sector. 

What is important for both roles 

• Reliable, precise and independent working style. 

• Committed and cooperative collaboration with customers, team and project participants. 

• German as working language; French skills are an advantage. 

• Driving licence category B.
