Our Mission
The political community of Fällanden operates the Sunnetal retirement center. The Sunnetal retirement center offers a home to 32 residents where they experience appreciation, security, and social interaction. Our gastronomic offerings are also tailored to the needs and wishes of the residents. The public Sunnetal bistro with garden is a popular, intergenerational meeting place visited by a diverse clientele – whether for a "coffee meeting" or lunch. The Sunnetal bistro is also booked for club and family events, and our catering team offers catering services.
Our Expectations – Your Opportunity
For the gastronomy area, we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement as
Cook on Call (Pool Employees Paid by the Hour)
- Responsibility for daily production (lunch and dinner, internal and external events, Monday to Sunday; sometimes as sole cook)
- Participation in proper inventory management (checking deliveries, correct storage, labeling, etc.)
- Implementation of quality standards, work and hygiene regulations
- Cross-departmental collaboration
- Completed training as a cook EFZ (or equivalent) and several years of professional experience (ideally with daily responsibility)
- Ability to quickly integrate into a new team and new processes as well as high time flexibility
- Ambition to delight residents and guests culinarily, pronounced social skills, and a service-oriented attitude
- Experience in a nursing home or hospital is an advantage
- Efficient, forward-looking, and orderly working style, motivated and humorous team player personality
