At Implenia, Equipment & Technology Services (ETS) provides the Group's operational units with the machinery, equipment, infrastructures and services required for the successful and sustainable realisation of construction projects. To further develop our organisation in Western Switzerland, we are looking for a committed individual as Regional Manager Western Switzerland who actively contributes to the operational performance and strategic development of ETS at the national level.
Your responsibilities
- You take overall responsibility for the ETS organisation in Western Switzerland and ensure the operational, economic and organisational performance of several regional locations.
- You ensure the optimal, safe and economical provision of machinery, equipment, containers, vehicles and services for the operational units.
- You manage the budget, investments, resources and financial results of the region based on relevant performance indicators.
- You lead and develop depot managers and other key personnel and promote a culture of responsibility, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- You optimise logistics processes, material flows, inventory and transport capacities to sustainably increase the efficiency of the region.
- You actively participate in transformation and digitalisation projects, especially in the introduction and sustainable anchoring of the future ERP system ETM.next.
- You are responsible for the strategic development of locations, infrastructures and regional investments and ensure sustainable use of the depots.
- As a member of the management team of ETS Switzerland, you contribute to the development and implementation of the national strategy and represent the interests of Western Switzerland to internal and external stakeholders.
Your profile
- Higher education (HF, FH or university) in a technical, logistical, business or construction-related field.
- Several years of successful experience in a leadership role with overall responsibility for an operational unit, its budget and results.
- Proven success in leading managers as well as managing decentralised organisations with multiple locations in technical, industrial or logistical environments.
- Strong business acumen and experience in investment management, financial control and key figure-based corporate management.
- Experience in process optimisation, change management, organisational development and transformation projects.
- High affinity for information systems, ERP solutions and data-based performance management.
- French at C1 level or higher and very good German skills at least at B2 level; English skills are an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills, entrepreneurial thinking, high sense of responsibility and the ability to successfully connect and develop teams in a national and multilingual environment.
