The Translait group, composed of the companies Translait, Univo and Milco, is active in the fields of transport, processing and valorisation of milk and dairy by-products, as well as in calf feeding.

To strengthen our maintenance team dedicated notably to our production sites, we are looking for a

Automation Technician 100%

Responsible for collaborating within an industrial maintenance team tasked with ensuring the maintenance, troubleshooting and proper functioning of all automated production installations and equipment.

Your duties:

• Carry out the necessary maintenance efficiently in collaboration with the workshop manager
• Ensure the maintenance of feeding equipment (automata, tanks, fattening equipment)
• Manage stock supply for the automation workshop in compliance with the technical department's purchasing policy
• Ensure maintenance of production installations at our various sites
• Ensure maintenance of Translait buildings and equipment
• Maintain the tools and equipment of the workshop
• Participate in tidying and cleaning the workshop
• Ensure administrative follow-up of various interventions
• Manage breakdowns and coordinate handling with internal and external partners
• Maintain the work environment and its equipment
• Provide on-call service
• Contribute to the development of the workshop, its procedures and available resources

Your profile:

• Knowledge in automation
• Basic administrative and IT skills
• Rigorous and precise, able to solve problems promptly
• Flexibility in working hours
• Versatility, strong organisational skills and able to work independently
• Experience in the machinery industry or similar technical environments
• Good methodology and ability to take initiative

In this role, you will work within an industrial maintenance team whose mission is to ensure the maintenance, troubleshooting and flawless operation of all automated production plants and equipment.

Your tasks:

• Efficiently carry out the required maintenance work in collaboration with the workshop manager
• Ensure the feeding systems and equipment (automata, tanks, fattening devices)
• Replenish stock management and material procurement for the automation workshop in compliance with the technical department's purchasing policy
• Maintain production facilities at our various locations
• Maintain Translait buildings and facilities
• Maintain tools and workshop materials
• Share responsibility for order and cleanliness in the workshop
• Ensure administrative follow-up of various assignments
• Manage faults and coordinate repairs with internal and external partners
• Care for and maintain the work environment and associated equipment
• Take on on-call duties
• Contribute to the further development of the workshop, its processes and available resources

Your profile:

• Knowledge in automation
• Basic knowledge of administration and IT
• Careful and precise working style and ability to solve problems as quickly as possible
• Flexibility in working hours
• Versatility, strong organisational talent and ability to work independently
• Experience in the machinery industry or a comparable technical environment
• Structured working method and initiative
