The Executive School of Management, Technology and Law (ES HSG) is the central contact point for Executive Education at the University of St.Gallen. With a broad portfolio of degree, open and custom programmes, it targets executives and professionals and consolidates its expertise in various business areas and subject fields.
You are responsible for the academic and economic development of our Open Programmes in the area of "Continuing Education for Politics" at the Executive School of the University of St.Gallen (CAS Economics and Politics as well as CAS Communication and Politics).
Your main tasks include:
- Academic responsibility for the content design, quality and further development of the Executive Education programmes
- Further development of existing programmes and portfolios as well as design of new content and learning formats with faculty and other stakeholders
- Monitoring market, customer and competition trends as well as active positioning and differentiation of the programmes
- Selection, coordination and support of faculty and external speakers
- Ensuring academic coherence, quality and a positive learning experience
- Responsibility for the revenue and profit budget of your own programmes
- Continuous optimisation of the programmes based on feedback, experience and current developments
- Collaboration with Programme Management, Marketing, Operations and Shared Services
- Participation in cross-cutting projects for the further development of Executive Education as a whole
- University degree, preferably in Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, Economics or Social Sciences or a related field
- Very good knowledge of the Swiss political landscape, its institutions and political processes as well as a strong interest in current political and social issues
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
- Professional and confident demeanour towards participants, lecturers and external partners
- Independent, structured and proactive working style with high initiative
- Enjoyment in actively shaping innovative continuing education programmes
- Team-oriented, flexible and reliable personality
- Experience in project management, public affairs, politics or consulting is an advantage
