Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a specialist as a Civil Engineer Structural Engineering to handle demanding structural and building projects. You will develop static and structural concepts from design through project planning to realisation and work on structures made of concrete, steel, and timber. In addition to calculation and dimensioning, you will be involved in tendering, cost and schedule management, as well as construction inspections and accompany the technical implementation on site. The position offers a versatile environment for both graduates and civil engineers with initial experience between structural planning, construction, and realisation.
Responsibilities:
Development of structural and static concepts from preliminary design to execution
Carrying out static calculations, dimensioning, and load-bearing capacity verifications
Project planning of structures and constructions in reinforced concrete, steel, and timber
Development of constructive solutions for building, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects
Preparation and review of
Coordination of structural planning with architecture, building services, and other disciplines
Preparation of tender and submission documents for structural works
Support in cost and schedule management during planning and realisation
Conducting construction inspections and quality checks on site
Taking on tasks in technical construction management and accompanying execution
Review of contractor documents, execution details, and technical proofs
Application and assurance of relevant SIA standards and structural regulations
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Civil Engineer FH or ETH
Expertise in structural engineering and structural planning
Suitable for graduates as well as professionals with initial experience
Knowledge in dimensioning of concrete, steel, and/or timber structures
Knowledge of AxisVM or comparable static software is an advantage
Knowledge of Messerli Bauad and Microsoft 365 is an advantage
Good German language skills spoken and written
