The Herzogenbuchsee school combines kindergarten and primary school in the centre of Oberaargau. Thanks to its location on the important transport axis between Bern and Olten, it is easily accessible and cares for children from Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz from kindergarten to 6th grade. Currently, around 760 pupils attend the five school and five kindergarten locations, where they are supported by a committed and versatile team of teachers. In addition to regular lessons, the school also organises speech therapy and psychomotor offers for the surrounding schools in the region.

Tasks
From August 2026, we are looking for support for a child with special public school status in a 5th/6th mixed-age class for 6 weekly lessons. You will support the child in class and help particularly with language challenges. The support takes place integratively within the class, in close cooperation with the class teacher.
Requirements
You enjoy working with children and approach them openly. You are patient, empathetic and reliable in your actions. Experience in the school sector is an advantage.
