We are looking for a

Head of Department Networks Gas and Water

Your tasks

• You lead and develop the Gas/Water Networks department in terms of personnel, organisation and expertise.
• You ensure the safe, reliable and economical operation and maintenance of our gas and water distribution networks.
• You are responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of network construction, renewal and maintenance projects.
• You further develop the medium- and long-term network and infrastructure planning and optimise existing processes.
• You coordinate collaboration with internal specialist departments, external partners, municipalities and authorities.
• You are responsible for operational readiness in the event of incidents and crises, promote a lived safety culture and take on the role of on-call manager.

Your profile

• A technical basic education with advanced training (HF/FH) or a comparable qualification, ideally in civil engineering, network construction or supply technology.
• Several years of professional experience, preferably at least five years in gas and water network construction, personnel management and project management.
• Sound knowledge of civil and pipeline construction as well as ideally the SVGW regulations; business management understanding is an advantage.
• A leadership personality with strong social skills, analytical thinking, as well as communication and negotiation skills.
