To strengthen our team at one of our locations in Rapperswil or Zurich, we are looking for an experienced and committed individual to lead our finances while working closely with our projects. In this role, you combine financial expertise with a good understanding of the processes in general planning, architecture, and construction management.
YOUR TASKS
- Professional and personnel management of the finance team
- Organisation, coordination, and further development of tasks and processes in the finance area
- Responsibility for the quality and timely execution of ongoing financial processes
- Preparation and coordination of our fee invoices for planning and construction management services
- Responsibility for the commercial change order management of our contracts
- Monitoring fees, change orders, incoming payments, and outstanding items
- Close collaboration with management, project leaders, and project teams
- Support of project managers in financial, contractual, and order-related matters
- Management of financial accounting
- Responsibility for debtor and creditor management including dunning procedures
- Preparation and coordination of the necessary documents for externally prepared financial statements
- Active development and digitalisation of our processes and workflows in the finance area
YOUR PROFILE
- Solid experience in finance and accounting as well as experience in leading a team
- Knowledge of Abacus is an advantage as well as confident handling of digital work processes
- Ideally experience in an architecture, engineering, planning, or construction company
- A good understanding of planning processes, project workflows, fees, and contract structures
- Experience with fee invoicing and commercial change order management
- A structured, precise, and independent working style
- Enjoyment in leadership and supporting and developing employees
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial contexts clearly to project teams
- Entrepreneurial thinking and the ambition not just to manage processes but to actively improve them
