The University of St.Gallen (HSG) is looking for an apprentice Specialist in Information and Documentation EFZ starting August 2026 for the library. The versatile vocational training lasts three years. For 1-2 days a week, the General Vocational School in Zurich (ABZH) will be attended. Inter-company courses will also take place in Zurich.

Your Tasks
- Working at the lending desk (public contact mainly with students and staff of the University of St.Gallen)
- Acquisition and indexing of printed and digital media
- Information provision using catalogs, databases, and other research tools
- Returning media to their location and equipping media
- Assisting with administrative tasks
Your Profile
- Enjoyment in dealing with people
- Strong interest in working with digital media, good computer skills
- Reliability, accuracy, communication skills, and team orientation
- Very good secondary school graduation
- Very good German skills (text comprehension, written expression, and spelling)
- Good foreign language skills, especially in English
