The Wallis Hospital is looking for an OR Logistician for the Oberwallis Hospital Centre in the OR Logistics department:
OR Logistician 50-100%
You will work in the core business of our OR logistics and be jointly responsible for the smooth ordering of consumables, loan instruments and implants, as well as their correct storage and supply in the sterile OR work area.
Your tasks:
- Ensuring the supply security of the OR with medical-nursing consumables
- Ensuring a smooth OR logistics process regarding ordering, goods receipt, storage, posting, returns
- Preparation and provision of surgical instruments and OR materials for their processing in central sterilisation with subsequent return and storage
- Inventory checks and warehouse management using an ERP system
- Main interface between the OR department, anaesthesia, central warehouse and suppliers
- Winter operation: once monthly Saturday duty
- You actively contribute to the design of our OR logistics
Your profile:
- Qualification as logistician with federal certificate of competence (EFZ), preferably with medical knowledge or basic EFZ training in healthcare with a flair for logistics
- Several years of professional experience in the field, hospital or healthcare facility
- Knowledge of logistical requirements for medical consumables, warehouse management as well as picking and the ordering process using an ERP system
- High service, social and self-competence
- Good PC user skills and knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Opale
- Reliability, flexibility and resilience
- Precise as well as initiative, committed and team-oriented working
