About the job
Our new building, inaugurated in 2017, is located in the south of Riehen and significantly shapes the ever-growing neighbourhood between Landauer, Hörnli and Rauracher Centre with its impressive architecture.
In the 1960s, the old Humanitas was established, which has been a contract home of the Canton Basel-Stadt since the 1990s, located for 50 years on Inzlingerstrasse in Riehen before new construction was possible in the south. In 111 rooms, we offer people in old age with support needs in 12 care levels a "home". For around 150 employees, we are a solid, secure employer in Riehen with modern conditions and clear, fair structures.

Your main tasks
- Serving and caring for residents in the living areas
- Mainly in the evening between 4:45 pm and 7:30 pm
- Room service for the residents
- Evening service with our *Tischlein deck Dich* in one of our three dining rooms
- Office and cleaning duties in the dining room and back office area
- Participation in team meetings and further training
- Independent and careful working method
- Open and active collaboration with other positions
- Compliance with hygiene regulations and the HACCP concept including various cleaning tasks
Your profile
- You have completed training in hospitality, housekeeping or have many years of experience in service, preferably in the home-hospital sector
- You convince with a friendly, confident and customer-oriented manner
- In dealing with residents, guests and employees, you demonstrate social competence and always work solution-oriented
- You speak good German and understand Swiss German
- A high service orientation as well as excellent manners
- You are committed, resilient and flexible
- Enjoy working with elderly people
- Willingness to work weekend/public holiday shifts
