Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and professional sales assistant to join our team at our Matran store in Switzerland. In this part-time role (20%), you will be the face of our company: you will need to provide exceptional customer service while driving sales and ensuring the smooth running of the store. The ideal person will be customer-oriented, efficient, and determined to offer a positive shopping experience to every visitor.
- Warmly welcome customers and help them find products that meet their needs - Process transactions accurately using our till system and manage cash responsibly - Maintain good product knowledge and provide informed advice to customers - Ensure the sales area is tidy, clean, and well stocked with merchandise
- Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally and courteously - Participate in stock management tasks, including receiving and organising goods - Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store - Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining a positive attitude - Contribute to achieving sales targets through excellent customer engagement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service in a retail or commercial environment - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Proficiency with point of sale systems and cash management - Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment - Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility regarding hours for a part-time position
- Positive attitude and genuine passion for helping customers - Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail - An advantage: proficiency in multiple languages (German, French or Italian) - An advantage: previous experience in retail or sales - An advantage: experience with stock management systems
