The BAUR & CIE AG is part of the traditional BEREUTER Group and specialises in demanding conversion, renovation and refurbishment projects in the greater Zurich area. For operational management and strategic development, we are looking for an entrepreneurial leader with a strong understanding of the Swiss construction industry.

As Managing Director, you take on the operational overall management of BAUR & CIE AG with full responsibility for turnover, costs and results. You develop the company strategically together with the group management and are part of the leadership team of the BEREUTER Group.

A key focus lies in active market development, acquiring new contracts as well as supporting and further developing key clients. You will specifically utilise the synergies within the BEREUTER Group.

You lead and develop a team of around 30 employees and ensure a performance-oriented and cooperative leadership culture. At the same time, you ensure economic efficiency, quality and occupational safety and consistently drive the optimisation of processes, costing and project execution.

You have a solid understanding of the construction industry and operational construction business. Ideally, this is based on training as a master builder, civil engineer, construction manager, technician or a comparable technical or business qualification with a strong connection to the construction sector.

You bring several years of leadership and result responsibility, for example as managing director, branch manager, profit centre, division or department head. Experience in the Swiss construction, conversion or renovation business is a prerequisite.

In addition to your technical and entrepreneurial understanding, you have very good skills in market and customer management as well as in organising and developing processes and good knowledge of finance and controlling.

You combine strategic thinking and analytical strength with pragmatism, negotiation skills, customer orientation and closeness to operational construction business.
