Your Tasks

As a plastics application technician, you are responsible for the technical support, setup and optimisation of our injection moulding processes as well as the associated automation and packaging systems in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

• Independent setup, start-up and optimisation of injection moulding machines and the associated peripheral equipment

• Programming and optimisation of handling devices, robotic systems and automated packaging systems

• Conducting sampling, process trials, validations and series start-ups

• Optimisation and monitoring of relevant process parameters to ensure stable and reproducible production processes

• Ensuring consistently high product quality while complying with GMP, quality and hygiene requirements

• Conducting fault analyses, troubleshooting and technical corrective measures

• Creation and maintenance of process documentation, setting parameters and work instructions

• Technical support of production as well as close cooperation with quality assurance, development, maintenance and toolmaking

• Training and instruction of employees in the areas of plant operation, process understanding and quality

• Participation in optimisation, automation and continuous improvement projects to continuously improve quality, efficiency and plant availability

Your Profile

• Completed training as a plastics technologist EFZ, plastics process technician or comparable technical training

• Several years of professional experience in injection moulding, preferably in a technically demanding production environment

• Sound knowledge of injection moulding, tooling and process technology

• Experience in setting up, starting up, optimising and sampling injection moulding machines (ENGEL and/or Netstal injection moulding machines advantageous)

• Knowledge of automation, robotics and automated manufacturing systems advantageous

• Experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, medical technology or healthcare advantageous

• Knowledge of GMP requirements, cleanroom processes and quality-relevant documentation advantageous

• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style as well as pronounced technical understanding

• High quality and sense of responsibility

• Independent and reliable personality with team spirit

• Willingness to work shifts

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form; English skills advantageous
