Your Tasks
- Active participation in an interdisciplinary team in the operating theatres in Eutin and Oldenburg, performing anaesthesia across sites in the fields of general/visceral and thoracic surgery, spinal surgery, orthopaedics/trauma surgery, vascular surgery, gynaecology/obstetrics, ENT and urology
- Over 9,000 anaesthesia services annually in Eutin and Oldenburg, with a large delivery suite at the Eutin site with over 1,000 births per year and a significant proportion of paediatric anaesthesia in ENT and surgery/paediatric surgery
- Covering emergency doctor duties currently at the sites in Eutin, Oldenburg and Burg/Fehmarn, with potential for other locations in the district in the future
- Responsibility for anaesthesiological quality management (QM) for the Eutin and Oldenburg sites and the requirements for providing emergency doctors in the emergency services by the operator in the Ostholstein district
- Creating, revising and being responsible for regular updates of anaesthesiological standards (SOP) as well as the internal departmental anaesthesia manual
- Participation in on-call and standby duties in Eutin and Oldenburg
Your Profile
- You hold a German medical licence and have experience in anaesthesia as a specialist and in emergency medicine as an active emergency doctor, both ground-based and in air rescue
- An independent and committed working style, enjoyment of collaboration in an interdisciplinary team and a good eye for the concerns of your patients characterise you; interdisciplinary communication is one of your particular strengths
- You possess a high level of commitment, team spirit and social competence; resilience, a strong sense of responsibility and flexibility are a matter of course for you
- You are manual and technically skilled and particularly enjoy your interdisciplinary work, transfusion and coagulation management as well as potentially difficult airway management, especially in patients with syndrome diseases
- You are actively involved in implementing the training authorisation for specialist in anaesthesiology and actively train assistant doctors in further training together with the authorised chief physician at the Eutin site
- You have the additional qualification "Medical Quality Management", recognised by the Medical Association of Schleswig-Holstein, or are actively pursuing this additional qualification
