Your role and responsibilities
You will actively take ownership of all commissioning activities at the module fabrication & integration Yard. Proactively take necessary steps to resolve commissioning related issues and support until first oil or project commercial production. Support Warranty related activities post commissioning till end of warranty period.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:

Adapting and supporting commissioning plans & schedule for all stages of the project and functionally manage all the internal and external (3rd party) commissioning resources to assign to project sites.

Comprehensive resource pool management and implementation of standardized processes from project & site management transitioning into commissioning e.g., standardized commissioning plan, procedure, and commissioning schedule.

Strict adherence to ABB global and project specific HSE principles and policies and relentless implementation.

Facilitating actively to trouble shoot and resolve all commissioning related electrical and automation issues. Coordinate with relevant ABB and Customer side stake holders to align their expectations.

Attending periodic customer and yard meetings related to commissioning and warranty support activities.

Coordinating and communicating with Project package engineers, Project closing specialist, Project commissioning engineer and Customer side engineers while resolving commissioning related issues
Qualifications for the role
-
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the commissioning and start-up of large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.

Strong track record of delivering complex solutions covering areas such as Automation Systems, Electrical Systems, E-Houses, Cybersecurity, and Digital Solutions.

Experienced project professional with demonstrated success in managing complex customer relationships, supplier interfaces, and contract execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Hands-on commissioning experience within Oil & Gas (Onshore and Offshore), Marine, Shipyard, or related industrial environments is highly preferred.

Sound technical expertise in different electrical and automation systems, including Transformers, Low-Voltage (LV) and Medium-Voltage (MV) Switchgear, Electrical Network Monitoring & Control Systems (ENMCS), Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS), and industrial network infrastructure.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify root causes, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement effective solutions under demanding project conditions.

Self-motivated and results-oriented, demonstrating initiative, resilience, sound judgement, and the ability to perform effectively in dynamic and fast-paced project environments.
