Together and with great passion, we at OdA Gesundheit Zürich are committed to a strong future for healthcare. We are the contact point and active shaper in educational policy matters and are strongly engaged in promoting young talent. In our course centre in Zürich-Greencity, we offer inter-company courses for health professions and run the Higher Technical School for Intensive, Emergency and Anaesthesia Care.

How you will contribute

• You will take overall responsibility for the education sector of OdA Gesundheit Zürich with the educational programmes for Health Professionals EFZ (FaGe), Health and Social Care Assistant EBA (AGS), Medical Product Technologist EFZ (MPT), Integration Pre-apprenticeship (INVOL) as well as further education and training.
• You will ensure the high quality of our educational offerings and continuously develop them in line with current and future healthcare requirements.
• You will shape the strategic development of initial and continuing education and implement innovative educational concepts with your team.
• Through collaboration with educational partners, you will support educational policy processes in vocational training matters and represent the interests of our members in committees and networks.
• You will work closely with educational centres, practical training providers, authorities and other educational partners and promote successful networking of all stakeholders by acting as a unifying force.
• You will initiate, lead and accompany demanding projects for training development and quality assurance.
• You will make an important contribution to securing and promoting the professional young talent in the healthcare sector of the Canton of Zürich.
• You will lead a committed team, bear the business management responsibility for the entire education sector and report directly to the Managing Director as a member of the Executive Board.

What you bring

• You have completed training in healthcare – ideally in nursing
• You have advanced pedagogical training
• You have several years of proven performance in a leadership position, ideally with further training
• You have business management knowledge
• You are well acquainted with the Swiss healthcare system and the Swiss educational landscape and can network accordingly
• You are characterised by a cooperative and appreciative leadership style
• You are an honest, resilient and solution-oriented leader with strong social skills. Your working style is strategic, structured and forward-looking with high personal responsibility and reliability.
• You think entrepreneurially, recognise connections and make decisions based on sound analyses, critical reflection and a clear visionary orientation.
• With your convincing and authentic communication, you know how to win people over to common goals, effectively shape change and solve tasks empathically, constructively and sustainably even in demanding situations.
