Neuropsychologist 40 - 80%Correctional Services and Reintegration (JuWe) Zurich is an office of the Directorate of Justice and Home Affairs of the Canton of Zurich and employs around 1,400 people from diverse professions. JuWe is primarily responsible for the enforcement of court sentences and the execution of pre-trial detention. For the employees of the office, the prevention of recidivism and the successful social reintegration of offenders are of particular importance.
The Psychiatric-Psychological Service (PPD) is one of the eight main departments of JuWe. As one of the largest institutions for forensic psychotherapy and psychiatry in Switzerland, it specialises in relapse-preventive treatment of violent and sexual offenders in custody and in the community. The treatment offerings range from court-ordered measures to therapies within psychiatric primary care.
The Neuropsychology Specialist Service is being established and is developing into a central specialist unit for neuropsychological issues within the PPD.
This appeals to you
- Independent planning, execution and documentation of test diagnostic assessments for forensic clients in youth and adulthood
- Preparation of neuropsychological reports
- Participation in interdisciplinary case discussions and close collaboration, especially with psychotherapeutic and psychiatric colleagues
- Contribution to the further development of concepts, processes and professional standards
- Taking on professional and personnel leadership tasks if interested
This is you
- You have a completed degree in psychology and are in advanced postgraduate training in neuropsychology or have already completed it
- Several years of practical experience in neuropsychological diagnostics are expected, ideally with a focus on the diagnosis of ADHD and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Experience in conducting neurofeedback is an advantage
- You work carefully and value precise written work, both in documentation and reporting. Evaluation and team-oriented feedback should be used for continuous professional development
- Furthermore, you are interested in neuropsychological issues in forensic clientele and appreciate an environment where responsibility can be assumed and shaped
