Your new role
You will gain exciting insights into the fields of activity of the four departments of urban planning and related specialist areas. You will assist in the procedural support of special use plans, zoning plan changes, local planning revisions as well as urban studies, create planning bases and maps, and support us at events and occasions.
You are suitable for this position if
- You are planning to study urban, traffic, and spatial planning at OST - Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil and need a preliminary internship for this, or you want to gain practical experience alongside your spatial planning or geography studies.
- You enjoy working on spatial planning, urban development, and open space issues and are interested in planning processes and building and planning law.
- You are a team player, like to work independently, and are communicative and reliable.

Urban planning is responsible for the structural and spatial development of the city. We handle diverse tasks in the four departments of spatial planning, urban development / open space, monument preservation, and area and site development.
