About the job
Auditorate (Criminal Law Division) 100%The Zurich District Office is responsible as a decentralised cantonal administrative unit for numerous tasks in the Zurich district. The focus is on the prosecution of misdemeanours.
For collaboration in our Criminal Law Department, we are seeking a legal trainee (100%) starting 1 September 2026.
Your tasks
- You will be assigned to the head of the Criminal Law Department and work under their guidance and responsibility on criminal investigations in the area of misdemeanours under the Swiss Criminal Code and ancillary criminal law
- Assessment of reports, drafting of criminal decisions and dismissal orders, participation in procedural acts, etc.
- Preparation and conduct of interrogations as well as preparation of coercive measures
Your profile
- Completed law degree, preferably with court experience
- Interest in criminal and criminal procedural law, especially in prosecution
- Independent, efficient and precise working style
- Fluency in oral and written expression
- Friendly and confident demeanour as well as good manners
- Absolute discretion, reliability and ability to work in a team
