Economist (Research Associate, 80–100%, limited to 6 months with option for permanent employment)
What you will achieve with us:
- You work in interdisciplinary teams on studies, evaluations, and consulting mandates, mostly on behalf of the public sector.
- You take responsibility for handling economic and social issues within thematically diverse projects.
- You participate in the development of project designs, prepare reports, and maintain contact with our clients.
- You prepare presentations and participatory workshops, actively participate in them, and take minutes.
- a study on the use of travel time in Switzerland,
- an estimate of the economic significance of FHNW for the canton of Solothurn,
- a feasibility study for a macroeconomic cost-benefit analysis of parental leave models, or
- an evaluation of the biodiversity effects of structural improvement contributions .
What you bring:
- A university degree (Master) in economics, preferably macroeconomics
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Confident handling of quantitative methods

Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
Strong communication skills: You write precise and convincing reports in German and are able to clearly and illustratively prepare and visualize complex issues. Knowledge of French is a plus.
